The retreat was the perfect getaway – lovely cottage in a beautiful location, and spotlessly clean. Mary and Derek had added lots of thoughtful touches and with the lovely natural surrounds, tennis court, basketball hoop, and bbq we had a wonderful stay. Particular mention to my all-time favourite bath – basked in sunlight and with a view of wallabies feeding on the lawn! Unbeatable. We even saw an echidna. Would love to stay again.

Such an amazing space that Mary and Derek have created. Chock-full of thoughtful amenities, unbelievably immaculate and absolutely beautiful surrounds. The bathroom and living areas are light and incredibly spacious. Lots of thought has gone into this stay and we had an amazing weekend.

Mary’s place is a beautiful, private retreat with such beautiful personal touches through the cottage. Beautiful outdoor area and the cottage had more than everything we needed.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay @ Mary & Derek’s Place. Our only regret was not being able to stay for longer on this particular occasion. Mary is a warm host, but she also gave us lots of privacy from the moment we arrived, which made us feel very much at home. A beautiful place to stay & immaculately clean.

The Retreat at Amryhouse is amazing. The remote and secluded location makes for a great weekend getaway from the city. The accommodation is stylish, extremely comfortable and cosy. The amenities provided by Mary and Derek are generous and everything has been thought of.

‘Mary and Derek’s place provides a wonderful relaxing get away. Abundant wildlife are close to the cottage for viewing. Amenities in the cottage include a lovely bath that provides sunrise viewing in the early morn. Mary and Derek supplied a huge selection of beverages along with breakfast goodies. Comfort is ensured with the most comfortable king-sized bed. A great place to stay for a romantic getaway’.

Amryhouse is a true Retreat – The peace and quiet of this delightful cottage is perfect for anyone wanting to get away from it all. A beautiful setting with picture perfect views from every window. Gum trees out the back and beautiful lush green lawns out the front where kangaroos graze. The cottage is extremely well built and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.
