My partner and I stayed for a romantic weekend and we returned home rested, relaxed and refreshed after a perfect little getaway. Peaceful and tranquil location where we could switch off after a busy work week. Clean, lovely furniture and bedding. We utilized the outdoor area in the evenings. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would return.

My stay at The Retreat was absolutely amazing! We've been to the Macedon Ranges for a few times but never stayed overnight. This time we decided to explore this area more and gave us a chance to escape from the hectic life in city! The Retreat is brand new and gorgeous!!! With delicately selected decor, well equipped bathroom & open kitchen, and a super comfy bed, I felt I was staying in a luxury hotel! Next morning, we saw plenty of kangaroos hopping around. It was nice to spend some time in the country! Would definitely recommend!

Thank you for a fabulous weekend away. The cottage is gorgeous and surrounded by lovely grounds. The tranquillity made our stay super relaxing and a welcome relief from the daily grind. We enjoyed exploring the towns nearby with plenty of local produce and great food available. Lots of opportunity to fill your days or just unwind. We were made to feel extremely welcome and would not hesitate to return. A great weekend!

My husband and I managed to get away for the weekend and The Retreat at Amryhouse was the perfect getaway. It was great for us to get away, relax and be surrounded in the beautiful peace and quiet of the country. The grounds are gorgeous, and we loved waking to see all the kangaroos & wildlife. We felt very welcome and would definitely be coming back for the great hospitality and beautiful countryside.

Great Spot, Beautiful Cottage ~ The cottage and grounds at Amryhouse are terrific. We enjoyed the relaxed and picturesque bush setting by day and enjoyed the local restaurants i.e. Holgate Brewery and The Cosmopolitan Hotel by evening. The cottage break was a great way to wind down & rest. It is brand new, very well decorated and has everything you could want for a peaceful and private country break. We cannot wait to return & explore more of the beautiful Macedon Ranges.

What a beautiful cottage. My partner and I had such an amazing weekend exploring the Macedon Ranges. The area is filled with fantastic food and wine and the Amryhouse cottage was the perfect place to experience it from.

Beautiful Stay in Woodend ~ Lovely spot just out of Woodend. The scene looks like something out of Beatrice Potter, with the services excellent. Woodend is beautiful this time of year and I would not hesitate to return
